Step One:
Make a cardboard Template in the shape of an officer's badge. Once you have one of them trace and cut out the number needed for the project. Make sure they are made out of a strong material such as cardboard.
Step Two:
Rip a piece of foil that is big enough to cover the whole badge. Have students cover the badge. Provide help if necessary.
Step Three:
Have the students write " Officer 'their name'" on the badge. Provide help if necessary.
Step Four:
Have the students decorate their badges.
Note:
Make sure you model each step for the students and provide an example of how the end product should look.
