Realistic Fall Trees

This is best for Pre-k or Kindergarten.

Materials:
·         Blue construction  paper
·         Sharpie
·         Glue sticks
·         Tacky glue (used by teacher)
·         6 to 7 leaves from outside
·         Stick from outside
·         Easter basket green grass

First:
Glue down the stick for the children with tacky glue. (This part is usually hard for the children to do themselves) Let this dry a little before going to the next step.

Second:
Have the children glue the bottom of the paper and press the green grass onto the glue.

Third:
Have the students glue the top of the paper and put the leaves on.

Fourth:
Then write their names on the back.

Farm Animal Unit

This is best for Pre-k or Kindergarten. Also I would recommend doing this in a small group of no more than three kids.

Materials:
·         Large white paper
·         Orange paper
·         Easter basket green grass
·         Toilet paper roll
·         Sharpie
·         Markers
·         Yellow paint
·         Paper plate
·         Glue sticks
·         Scissors

First:
Take a large piece of white paper (picture below) and cut in into four pieces. Write the students name on the back of each white paper.

Second:
Have them glue the bottom of the paper and take a small bunch of the grass and press it onto the glue.

Third:
Have them push one end of the toilet paper roll in the paint and put four yellow circles on their paper above the green grass.

Fourth:
Fold the orange paper and cut four triangles out for each student. Make sure you cut on the fold so that the piece you cut makes a beak. Tell the students to glue only one side of the piece and put it on each chick to make the beak.

Fifth:
Have the students pick a color marker and have them make two dots for the eyes and two lines for the legs on each of the four chicks.
