Manners Bee



This is best for Pre-k or Kindergarten.

Materials:
·         Blue Construction  paper
·         Sharpie
·         Glue sticks
·         Googley eyes
·         Black construction paper
·         Yellow construction paper
·         Markers
·         Scissors 

First:
With the yellow paper cut out a circle for the bee’s head then cut out one body for each student in the class.

Second:
With the black paper cut out strips for them to use to make the stripes on the bee’s body.

Third:
0n yellow paper trace the students right and left hand and write their names on the paper.

Four:
Have the students place the body and the head on the paper and have them glue it down.

Five:
Have the students place the stripes on the bee’s body.

Six:
Then have the students glue on the googley eyes and draw a nose, a mouth, and two antennas. 

Seven:
Have the students write on one hand “Bee Nice” and on the other write “Bee A Good Friend”. Some students might need help with this or might need to trace over your handwriting. 

Eight:
Have the students color in the fingers to the hands.

Nine:
Help the students cut out the hands and paste them onto the bee.

Ten:
Write their names on their work and hang them up around the room.
